2010 gave a good crop of remixes. It's number has leveled with index of previous year. Brothers has already recorded 13 remixes, though the year-end is rather far away. The list has been replenished by the new single Skunk Anansie - My Ugly Boy (V2 Records Benelux), which was released September 6th. Benassi have made traditional dirty electro from the original rock song. They saved up most of riffs and sounds from the original.

And on September 13th the single "Favorite DJ" Remixes has been released. It's made by the American artist Clinton Sparks hooked up with Class and Jermaine Dupri. Now, the record's been given the remix treatment by six heavyweight producers, including DJ Green Lantern and Benny Benassi. The whole single is available for free download. Bros have made two versions of the remix: so called (Benny Benassi Remix Edit 1) and (Benny Benassi Remix Edit 2). Both works exceed the others by their melody.

In a new interview with Watermark Online, Kelis has confirmed that the Benny Benassi-produced "Brave” will be the third single to be lifted from her underrated dance album, Flesh Tone.
That "Brave” is one of the best songs from the album. The third Flesh Tone single was originally scheduled to be the David Guetta-produced "Scream”, but it now appears that Kelis and Co came to their senses and realized that it was the worst song off the album, and quickly replaced it with something much more divine.
Meanwhile, Kelis’ current single "4th of July” has reached a peak last week of #4 on the Billboard club chart. Fingers crossed that "Brave” manages to reach the top spot.

Radio Morillo: What prompted you to start this bike tour at this point in your career? Benny Benassi: I’ve wanted to do a tour by bike for ages, but I kept putting it off. I finally decided to go for it. After the summer seemed just the right time as it gave me some time and good weather to train and get fit.RM: Why California?BB: I went on a road trip with my family recently and drove down from San Francisco. I saw what the roads were like, the scenery, the distances. I knew I could rely on SF, LA and SD to put on a show and we could fill it in from there. RM: How many miles will you cover a day? BB: It won’t be the same distance every day but it’ll average out at around 130 kilometers a day. What’s that in miles? Between 90 and 100, I guess.
RM: It seems tiring to both bike to a location then set up for your performance. What will you be doing to ensure you are feeling good in time for you to get behind the tables? BB: Come on, it’s fun… I have to leave something to chance! RM: What kind of training did you have to go through to prepare for this?
BB: Nothing special. I have been cycling since I was a kid. I’m always pedaling a fixed gear. There are periods when it’s more intense and I ride every day, other periods, particularly over winter, or if I have a long tour, when it’s less frequent. But obviously I’ve ridden daily for a couple of months to prepare. RM: Do you hope to do more bike tours in the future?
BB: That’s a good question! This one hasn’t been planned as "the first in a series,” but, you know, it’s exciting and taking shape. You never know!

BENNY BENASSI BIKE TOUR: A MUSICAL RIDE THROUGH CALIFORNIA
This fall, Benny Benassi will return to America to accomplish something no other DJ has done – a major West Coast club tour… on a fixed-gear bicycle. The tour will launch in San Francisco on September 10 and finish in San Diego on September 19. (San Francisco - Santa Cruz - Santa Barbara - Los Angeles - San Diego).

In the middle of November a new album by world's known DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold will be released. "Pop killer" is already famous for containing the remix of the song by Viktor Tsoy. According to Paul's words, he has an intention to tell the world about that legend of russian rock music by playing his own remix "We want changes" on all of the dancefloors. Besides the new album will include collaborative projects with the talented artists, such as Cee-Lo, Tamra, Matt Goss, Infected Mushroom and... Red Hot Chili Peppers & Benny Benassi! So "Otherside" which has become fabulous bootleg will finally be released officially. But the new version is reworked jointly with Paul Oakenfold in a few options. Dutch DJ and producer Fedde Le Grand is back with the new single from his latest album "Output". "Rocking High" - this electro house track is to rock the dancefloors all over the globe.
Two remixes were made for the single. The first by Benny Benassi, the second by rising Dutch star Nicky Romero. Benassi has delivered a disgustingly filthy sound to the track. But everything is sitting nice over the vocoded synth/vocal.
The official website called that remix as "uncompromising electro with a cheeky nod to breaks gone by". But as for benassiclub.com opinion, that work is the result of the exchange of remixes (call to mind "Spaceship").
"Fedde le Grand feat. Mitch Crown – Rockin High" with Benny Benassi's и Nicky Romero's versions has been released on August 16th on Flamingo Recordings. September, the 13th is the release date on itunes.com.

On August 20th "Piranha-3d" has been released. This youth horror was shot by Alexandre Aja in USA. Two tracks by Benny Benassi got into the film soundtrack!
While careless young blood is having fun in the water of lake Victoria and ancient and very dangerous pirahna are about to attack, overland we can hear Public Enemy vs. Benny Benassi — Bring the noise (Pump-kin Mix) and a bit later Honorebel feat. Pitbull & Jump Smokers — Now You See It (Benny Benassi Remix). It should be noted that such a music has perfectly fit the whole movie's aura. 29.08.2010
